How Holiday Shifts Work
The rule is simple: starting on the holiday, every pickup day shifts forward one day for the rest of that week. Days before the holiday are unaffected.
If your day is Monday and the holiday is on Monday (holiday):
Your Monday pickup moves to Tuesday. Tuesday moves to Wednesday, and so on through Friday → Saturday.
If your day is Tuesday and the holiday is on Monday (holiday):
Your Tuesday pickup moves to Wednesday. Wednesday → Thursday. Thursday → Friday. Friday → Saturday.
If your day is Thursday and the holiday is on Thursday (holiday):
Your Thursday pickup moves to Friday. Friday → Saturday. Monday through Wednesday are unaffected.
If your day is Friday and the holiday is on Friday (holiday):
Your Friday pickup moves to Saturday.
