How We Source Our Data
TrashAlert sources collection schedule data directly from official city open data portals and municipal GIS systems. We don't scrape, guess, or use AI to generate schedules.
Each city's data pipeline is documented in our Source Registry with verification dates, API endpoints, and data quality levels. When a city updates their schedules, we re-pull from the source — no stale data.
